Coming to the Table: Immigrant Women and Food – A Fi2W Event at The New School

Fi2W coming to the table

Join Feet in 2 Worlds for a special tasting event and discussion on Tuesday August 26 from 6PM to 9PM.

In many families, whether they have just arrived or have been in the U.S. for generations, it is the women who prepare food and pass along recipes and food traditions from one generation to the next. Through cooking, growing, selling, shopping for, and serving food women play an important role in creating community and maintaining culture in a new country.

Admission is free, but you must RSVP.
