“When we got back to the house, we saw that we had lost everything that we had,” recalls Mary Colón, a resident of Yabucoa, a town in southeastern Puerto Rico.

While thousands of Puerto Ricans have fled to the U.S. mainland for housing, medical attention, employment and educational opportunities, some are committed to staying and rebuilding. Charlene Santiago produced this film about the Colón-Santiago family who are determined to overcome the devastation left by the storm.
