Despite his highly-touted executive order regarding federal immigration policy, President Obama’s website makes it difficult for people to look up his position on immigration, according to Real Clear Politics.

After the Supreme Court ruling on SB 1070, a judge in South Carolina has announced he needs to revisit his own state’s immigration law, according to this Associated Press article.

Latina Lista reports on Texas Governor Rick Perry’s hardline opposition to the Medicaid expansion mandated by the Affordable Care Act, and its effect on Latinos in the state.  Last week, Latina Lista also wrote about a new report of human rights abuses along the U.S.-Mexico border.

In a related story from the Associated Press, a Mexican was reportedly shot dead by U.S. agents at the border, resulting in criticism from the Mexican government.

Adriano Espaillat finally conceded in his bid for Charles Rangel’s congressional seat, but according to El Diario he has not decided whether or not to officially run for reelection to the NY State Senate, despite a looming deadline to declare.

In Sheepshead Bay, New York State Assemblyman Steve Cymbrowitz criticizes the New York City Board of Elections for failing to translate voting materials into Russian.
