The Iran nuclear deal is officially in effect. “Adoption Day” for the treaty was Sunday, October 18.

While the Obama administration sees the agreement as a necessary step towards greater peace and stability in the Middle East, opponents claim that Iran will still be able to develop nuclear weapons.  But for some Israeli and Iranian immigrants in New York the arguments are not so clear cut.

Feet in Two Worlds contributor Yael Even Or produced a story for our public radio partner WYNC  where she spoke to immigrants concerned about the agreement and what it will mean for their home country.
