Fi2W Presents Power of the Latinx Vote Saturday 10/8

Fi2W’s Unidos app, keeping young Latinx informed during the 2016 presidential election, has teamed up with The Media Consortium (TMC), the NY Immigration Coalition (NYIC), and Brooklyn-based DJ Bembona to present Power of the Latinx Vote / El Poder del Voto Latinx at Terraza 7, a live-music venue in Jackson Heights, Queens.

Musicians, journalists, DJs, organizers, and community members will come together to discuss the vital role of music, art and technology in engaging young Latinos in the political process.

Voter registration materials and guides to the candidates in Spanish and English will be available at the event just in time for New York’s voter registration deadline of October 14th.

DATE: Saturday, October 8th

TIME: Panel discussion 7-9 PM, Music from 9 PM

LOCATION: Terraza 7 | 4019 Gleane Street Elmhurst/Jackson Heights
