Ashwini is an entrepreneur and writer who has built and launched companies and products focused on data, marketing, blockchain and venture capital. She is a founding partner of 22X Fund, the first tokenized venture capital fund started by startup founders to democratize access to capital. Ashwini’s work on 22X Fund was recognized by Microsoft who awarded her for “innovation in venture capital fundraising” and by TED where she was a Spring 2018 Resident.

Ashwini and her work on 22X and her own startups have been featured in INC, AXIOS, CNBC, NBC News, Digiday and the Business of Fashion. As an entrepreneur (Social Data Collective d.b.a OpenUp / 500 Startups Batch 22) she has built and sold data-driven products to Hearst, A&E, Gannett, and other leading media companies.

Ashwini is a trusted advisor to startups and has consulted and served on the advisory boards of Mars Reel, Ethos, Swayable, Fatherly, Avaaz Media, CAMPVS and others where she has raised capital, lead business development and growth efforts.

Ashwini started her career as a journalist where she worked for NBC News at Nightly News and the Today Show and covered Barack Obama’s 2007-2008 presidential campaign as a digital embed. She was a former Feet in 2 Worlds managing editor.
