Caitlin Whisby is a Brooklyn-based audio journalist originally from Atlanta. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, where she specializes in audio reporting and arts and culture coverage.

Her work focuses on telling underreported stories rooted in culture, identity, and community, often highlighting voices that are overlooked in mainstream media. She has produced short audio features and narrative pieces that explore life in New York City.

Previously, Caitlin served as a digital editor at Georgia State University’s student-run newspaper, The Signal, where she edited and published multimedia stories for its website.
