Danny Bloch is a master’s in journalism student at the City University of New York (CUNY). His interest in migration stems in part from growing up in Queens, NYC, and from his family’s layered histories. Danny brings over 15 years of service in the non-profit sector where he worked to improve access to education and legal/social services for recently arrived youth and families. He is excited to pivot to journalism and is drawn to local reporting, longform narratives and audio stories.
