Feet in 2 Worlds is hosting a Fundamentals of Writing For Audio workshop on Monday, October 27, 2025.

Held over Zoom, this one day workshop is designed to help participants learn the basics of writing for audio stories and reporting. 

The workshop will focus on how to develop audio story scripts by weaving together written narration and audio recordings. Participants will learn and practice basic skills such as writing in and out of tape, signposting, modifying pacing and beats, and use of repetition and emphasis.

The workshop will focus on these audio writing fundamentals, but interested participants of all skill levels are welcome.

1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern

Pricing:

The cost to participate is $50. A limited number of scholarships are available for those who need financial support. 

Requirements:

Participants will be required to participate in a Zoom meeting, listen to audio, play back recordings, and type short audio scripts. A computer in a quiet space with internet is highly recommended for the workshop.

Participants may also optionally bring a recording and transcript of a single interview or scene they have recorded previously to use.
