Vera Carothers
Vera Carothers is a journalist and writer with roots in Argentina and the U.S. Her writing and reporting has appeared in The New Yorker, NPR, The Brooklyn Rail, and Lux Magazine, among other places. In 2025, she was a Fulbright grantee in Argentina, where she documented the performing arts as a tool of political resistance. Before that, she was an editorial staff member of The New Yorker.
