Feet in 2 Worlds looking for Website Manager

Feet in 2 Worlds, a nonprofit news organization focused on immigrants and immigration, is looking for a skilled Website Manager to join our team to manage our website at fi2w.org. This position is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by using your technical expertise and creative design skills to enhance our online presence.

Location: Remote (candidates located between the Pacific and Atlantic Time Zones preferred)

Part-Time; hours per week: 3 to 5

Pay scale: $150 per week

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in WordPress development
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with FTP and server management
  • Knowledge of PHP (a significant advantage)
  • Experience in web design

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update our WordPress-based Feet in 2 Worlds website
  • Manage our web hosting and email server
  • Implement creative design solutions to enhance user experience
  • Maintain consistency in website design and its adherence to Feet in 2 Worlds branding
  • Oversee regular website backups
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure website content aligns with our mission
  • Optimize site performance and security, including management of website plugins
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
