Immigrant Stories from Feet in 2 Worlds on Public Radio Today

It’s a big day for us at Feet in 2 Worlds, with four segments on two nationally distributed public radio shows featuring three Fi2W journalists.

As part of our #LatinoVote coverage, NPR’s LatinoUSA will feature stories by Fi2W contributors that we co-produced plus a segment with highlights from our town hall event at The New School last week on Latino voters. Check out:

And from our Food in 2 Worlds project, PRI’s The World has scheduled Aurora Almendral’s story about Jollibee Filipino fast food restaurants to run this afternoon.

Fi2W is supported by the New York Community Trust and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation with additional support from the Ralph E. Odgen Foundation and the Sirus Fund.

Feet in 2 Worlds (Fi2W) is an independent media outlet, journalism training program, and launchpad for emerging immigrant journalists and media makers of color. Our work brings positive and meaningful change to America's newsrooms and has a broader impact on how immigration is reported and the ethnic and racial composition of news organizations.
